General description of the collection: This collection contains a paper entitled, "Administrative support within the combat zone," written by the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (DCSLOG) in April 1959. This copy was sent to the U.S. Army War College Library, Carlisle Barracks, in September 1959 by their request. The paper consists of a DCSLOG-approved "statement of principles," and a draft of the "outline concept" of "desirable characteristics of a modern support system" for the U.S. Army.
